How do I buy a pass or ticket?expand_more

Open the VIA Rider app, tap the Buy tab, select your pass or ticket type, and complete payment with a credit card or Apple Pay. Your ticket is instantly added to your account.

How do I use my ticket to board?expand_more

In the app, tap the Tickets tab, select your active ticket, and tap Activate. Show the QR code to the driver or hold your phone near the NFC validator on board.

Can I use Apple Pay or Google Pay?expand_more

Yes. The VIA Rider app supports Apple Pay for fast, secure checkout. You can also save credit or debit cards directly in the app.

What is the Wallet balance?expand_more

Your Wallet is a pre-loaded balance stored in your VIA account. You can top it up at any time and use it to purchase passes and tickets at checkout.

How do I request a refund?expand_more

Refunds are available for unused tickets within 24 hours of purchase. Contact support at support@yisraeltech.com with your order details and we will process your request.

I forgot my login — how do I get back in?expand_more

The VIA Rider app uses one-time codes sent to your email — there is no password to forget. On the login screen, enter your email address and we will send you a sign-in code.

How do I request an ADA / paratransit trip?expand_more

In the app, go to Account → Paratransit. You can schedule ADA-eligible trips, view your balance, and manage bookings from there. You must have an active ADA eligibility on file.

My payment was declined — what should I do?expand_more

Check that your card details are correct and that your billing address matches your bank records. If the problem persists, try a different payment method or contact your bank. You can also reach our support team for assistance.

How do I delete my account?expand_more

In the app, go to Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your profile, tickets, and wallet balance. This action cannot be undone. Alternatively, email support@yisraeltech.com and we will process your request.

Is my payment information secure?expand_more

Yes. VIA Transit uses Stripe and Apple Pay for all payment processing. We never store your full card number. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).
